Basis

Basis is a simple outliner that combines notes and tasks. I love outlines — my brain just works this way — but most outliners are overly complex and full of unnecessary features. I wanted something minimal.

Outlines are plain-text and support deep nesting. You can mix notes with tasks, and the sidebar shows pinned outlines at the top along with task status. Everything is keyboard-driven.

There is no database. Each outline is stored as markdown with metadata, persisted to iCloud Drive.
