Lake Minnewanka

My wife and I started 2016 by crossing something off our bucket list: seeing the northern lights. We were on a spontaneous road trip through Alberta and spent an evening at Lake Minnewanka gushing at the sky. It was well below zero and we were running out of the car to stabilize the tripod and tweak our cameras between exposures. Our fingers froze for a couple of hours. Absolutely worth it.
