FWIW, I'm not active on many networks and get my fill via private group messaging and from high quality creators that have communities of mutually interested people. These two sources have the highest signal/noise ratio and are genuinely safe places.

I started working on this in late December of 2019, but didn't really focus on it for a few months until the Corona virus struck and I decided to "quarantine myself" so as not to vector the virus to someone else. I then worked in earnest on it.

The perfect document and photo storage system is one you build or an existing one where you can find 100% flow in. So far, Apple, Dropbox, Google, and others fall short. I'm investing in a custom built approach that's forcing me to build apps and scripts, with storage in AWS.
Until then, I'll leverage my note taking apps for iOS and iPadOS. I've started playing with Roam to help untangle my brain but I haven't taken to it. So far, I'm leveraging Bear and starting to dabble with Notion. Notion text selection irks me and it's unlikely to make the cut.
I've got years of Evernote content that needs to be extracted and moved into Bear. Looks like a good Fall/Winter 2020 project. This summer is all about organizing documents and photos across 4 different cloud storage providers.

I think some of the best artists and designers really know who they are. They have an opinion and a sense of conviction in themselves that I respect, and I don't think I ever learned how to develop that myself. Part of that comes from being Asian.

I'm stunned by how excellent the inaugural iOS 14 beta build is. I've done away with pages (something I've wanted for years). Further optimization and compaction is coming but this feels good. Excited for developers to create widgets (Spotify, Things, Microsoft)!
