Where Will Fear Take You?
"Where will fear take you?"
The question naturally fits into my daily meditation practice:
- Eyes closed to block out visual distractions
- Noise-canceling headphones to block out aural distractions
- Deep+slow breaths via mouth+nose
- Body scan to work out fidgets
- Observing thoughts and anxieties as they come up
- Concluding with the question
By thinking about fear, we can learn to understand it, and by understanding it, we can learn to overcome it.
