At a certain point, one's memory gets worse with each passing year.

Sadly, I'm watching my grandfather go through this — he's starting to forget important things of his life as he approaches 90 years of age. None of us can escape this eventuality.

Being a spectator to this transformation coerced me to become a better photographer — not to just take better Instagram pictures — but to capture the feeling of precious moments, loved ones, that perfect landscape and, well, you get the point. Even immaterial moments we consider right now will one day be considered precious.

Assuming I get to live as long as my grandfather, I want to be able to look back at when I was 30 and relive the emotions and sensations of those special snapshots.

I hope to feel it all.
